The island is composed with Ogago Area, Mitsune area, Kashidate area, Nakanogo area and Sueyoshi area, each of them are separated by geographical shape of two mountains – Hachijo-Fuji and Miharayama.
You can enjoy trekking around the crater at the top of Hachijo-Fuji.
Volcanic ach creates coastline. It is also good to trail on volcanic ash and do whale watching.
