Kairakuen Garden is located in Ibaraki prefecture and one of the three most famous garden in Japan. In spring, a lot of people visit Kairakuen Garden to see plum blossoms.

Mito feudal domain was one of the three Tokugawa branch families, and 9th load of Mito feudal domain made Kairakuen. Mito Feudal domain is famous for Tokugawa Mitsukuni who compiled “Great Japanese History” in early Edo era and who is known with nickname of Mitokomon.

Kairakuen Garden founded as a pair of educational facilities “Kodokan”, a place to study literature and practice martial arts. Kairakuen was a place to rest for student for relaxation.
