Period to permit

The transportation bureau needs about 3 months for the examination after we submit the application form with all the necessary conditions.

Before submitting the application form, facilities such as business site, rest area and garage have to be inspected.

The License has to be updated every 5 years.

The procedures to get a permit

1. Submit application form to regional development bureau of Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism in accordance with Article 4 and 5 of Road transportation act.
2. Pre-examination along with examination criteria
3. Legal exam, document exam and interview
4. If you fail at legal exam, you have to take a reexamination.
5. If you pass the exam successfully, transport bureau issue a permit.
6. Payment of registration and license tax
7. Permit of condition of carriage
8. starting business
9. Submit notification of commencement of General chartered passenger car transportation business
